🗳️ Texas voting resources
Official, nonpartisan sources only — no interpretation from me. Every link below goes to a government office or the League of Women Voters.
Help others register
Check your status
- Am I registered? Texas Secretary of State lookup. Worth checking even if you're sure — registrations get cancelled.
- Register to vote Texas still requires a paper application. Print, sign, and mail it — start earlier than you think you need to.
Before you go
- What's on my ballot? League of Women Voters. Enter your address for your actual ballot, including the local races nobody covers.
- What ID do I need? The accepted list, and what to do if you don't have one of them.
- Harris County voters Local polling locations, early voting sites, and wait times.
If something goes wrong
Verify dates yourself. Deadlines, ID rules, and polling locations change, so I've deliberately not listed any here — the official pages above are always more current than a page like this one. If you spot something out of date, tell me and I'll fix it.
