🏃 Running in Houston
A run club for most nights of the week, and the races worth putting on a calendar. I run with Sexy Pace on Wednesdays. The group runs are all open — turn up, run your own pace, leave when you want.

- Wednesdays, 7PM · my club 🏃 Sexy Pace Running Club Hermann Park, at Miller Hill by the Reflection Pool. Free, every pace, groups for all of them — walk-jog included. This is the one I run with. Check in on their site when you get there.

- 🏃 Krisathon @krisathon — in their own words, Houston's LGBT and beginner-friendly run club. A good first one if you've never done a group run.

- Saturday, October 17 🍩 Shipley Donut Dash Sam Houston Race Park. 10K at 7am ($64.99), 5K at 8am ($54.99), Kids Dash at 9:45am ($34.99). Donuts on the course, not just at the finish. Benefits Kids' Meals.
- Saturday, October 24 🚀 Angels' Race For Space 5K/10K Space Center Houston, 7:30am. Timed 5K $40, timed 10K $50, untimed a little less, plus a 1K family fun run ($25) you can bring a dog to. Prices go up after October 10. Benefits Be An Angel.
- Sunday, October 25 🏅 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K Sam Houston Park, 1000 Bagby. Half at 7am ($105), 10K at 7:45am ($80), both with wheelchair and handcycle divisions. Flat course, run by the Houston Striders. Prices go up after October 11.
- Saturday, January 16, 2027 🏃 We Are Houston 5K Chevron Houston Marathon weekend. The 5K starts 8am at McKinney & Crawford, $40–$60 depending on the pricing tier you catch. The marathon and half are Sunday the 17th and have filled — the 5K is what's still open.
